The boy and the bird are now walking down a strange public park in the evening and a series of old Christmas lights that were solar powered are flickering on and off. the fountain was long dead and the black water in the shadow of the evening dance with the trembling reflection of the lights and the boy and the bird.

Just then the bird tried to warn the boy about something that was rushing very fast from a black unseen path.

the bird flew up right as a HING crashed into the boy. a hing is a bulgy eyed thing with long razor fangs and sometimes check mark pupils. Hings are smiling so fiercely that the ends of their smile appear as little horns on the side of their faces.

Hings do not typically have any motives and being 6th dimensional beings they typically do not injure or kill people, even though they easily could.

The hing's twig arms shoved the boy into the black Christmas lit waters of the fountain. and they surprise and shock caused the boy to sink down into shimmering terrain of aluminum cans and other debris.

IT was then that a one armed stick mermaid named after the Egyptian goddess of the sky came and kissed the boy and brought him back to the real world.
